Lena Shaposhnikova, born in Irkutsk (Russian Federation) in 1990. Graduates from the State Art College of Irkutsk, and in 2013 obtains her degree from the Technical University of Irkutsk’s Architecture Department. In 2014 she begins her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence within the school of Prof. Adriano Bimbi until 2018 where she graduates with the highest grades. Between 2015-2017 she participated in various artists’ residencies, located in different areas of Tuscany. Her works are exposed in Italy as well as internationally. In her art, we can appreciate the teachings of the Italian tradition, and the Siberian spirit, which the artist brings with her wherever she goes. Today she lives and works in Florence.
